Frequently Asked Questions

Q?
Do students need to pay for materials for the Maths tuition?
A.
Students do not need to pay for the Mathematics worksheets/mini-tests. A free ring file will be provided, for filing of the worksheets.

Q?
Why is there a one-time registration or enrolment fee of $30?
A.
This admin fee is collected only for first-time applicants. We will open a new Personal File for the student, to keep track of his/her progress. We will not collect another $30 when he/she continues classes for other levels.

Q?
Will the tuition centre be closed on public holidays?
A.
The tuition centre is closed on public holidays. If the Maths lesson falls on a day that the tuition centre is closed, Fruition will not charge for that lesson. No make-up class will be arranged but Fruition will definitely make appropriate adjustment to the lesson plans.

Q?
Will there be a holiday break during the school holidays?
A.
Our Maths curriculum at the tuition centre is on-going throughout the year but students can take time-off during the June and December holidays. Students will need to give two weeks' notice in writing. But kindly note that Primary Six and N(A)/O level students are advised not to take time-off during the holidays.

Q?
What if student misses his/her scheduled Maths lesson?
A.
If a student misses a scheduled lesson, he/she is allowed to attend a make-up lesson in another class at the tuition centre. However, this depends on the availability of a seat in the other class and provided that Fruition is notified of the cancelled lesson within 48 hours. The make-up lesson has to be in the same week as the missed lesson or the following week.

Students will need to contact Fruition Staff to arrange make-up classes.

Q?
Will the teacher issue any Maths homework?
A.
Yes, students will be given homework in order for them to keep current with the curriculum and syllabus.

Q?
Can the students do their school homework at the tuition centre?
A.
No. Students are expected to do their homework at home. At Fruition, students will be taught according to Fruition's lesson plans. But they are allowed to ask the teacher if they have questions with their school homework.

Q?
